“The Season of Listening , giving ear to the spaces between the spoken.”

In the stillness, the unseen world reveals itself more vividly than ever…

A living, breathing presence that feels both familiar and new.

Between moments of inspiration, let us return to simplicity and quietude, resting in the gentle rhythm of being, where silence itself becomes the prayer.

This is the season of inward turning, where the natural world teaches us the alchemy of release & how beauty and impermanence dance together before the long rest. Across traditions, this is a time to honor the ancestors and the unseen. The cosmic mirrors this shift, asking us to listen more deeply, to remember that everything we love and care for is part of a greater living continuum, seen and unseen, body and spirit, earth and sky.

This time invites shameless rest, reverent simplicity, and mindful tending.

Let yourself create space for stillness. Rest well and often.

Walk outside and feel the hum beneath the soil.

Let your breath slow down until you can hear the quiet conversation between worlds.

Let your nourishment be part of the ritual.

Eat foods that sustain warmth and grounding: root vegetables, stews, grains, teas.

Offer some to the spirits and ancestors too , in a little platter. Share your water …

Allow your nervous system to soften into the rhythm of the earth.

If grief visits, make gentle space for it , giving permission for it turn into praise for all those we have truly loved and lost.

When we still ourselves long enough to listen, their wisdom becomes clear as a living guidance that continues to shape who we are and how we walk in this world.

In the midst of all this deep listening and reflection, may we also remember to extend our care outward. Our basic needs of food, warmth, nourishment are privileges that many still fight for daily.

In this spirit of listening and care, we invite you to support World Central Kitchen, a trusted nonprofit offering nourishing meals in crisis zones and disaster areas around the world. Their teams are currently providing relief in Haiti and Jamaica, serving communities affected by hurricanes, conflict, and displacement as well as countless others across war-torn regions of our planet. Every act of giving, no matter its size, becomes a prayer in motion, a ripple of love in service to life itself.

Meanwhile, the Temple of Integration continues to serve as a living altar and pillar of care, offering private therapies, workshops, classes, and sacred spaces to return to the body, to ceremony, and to one another in community.

May this season remind each of us that our rest is holy, our nourishment is sacred, and our belonging is our birthright.

Thank you for being here.

We honor that the Temple of Integration stands on the ancestral and unceded homelands of the Nisenan people, who have stewarded this land with deep wisdom, care, and reverence for generations, and we pay respect to their enduring presence past, present, and future while acknowledging the ongoing history of displacement and erasure; may this space be one of remembrance, respect, and right relationship with the original peoples of this land, living hand in hand and heart to heart in community today.
